RESORT INFORMATION

MAINTENANCE
Please report problems to the Front Desk staff as soon as possible. Maintenance
personnel are on duty until 5:00PM. Please do not flush baby wipes.
PARKING
Your parking permit is issued upon registration, please place your hanging tag on your
rearview mirror. Only one parking space per unit. No boats, trailers or RV’s. Additional
parking permit may be requested depending upon availability.
PETS
Absolutely NO PETS allowed. Certified service animals specifically
trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. You must notify
the resort when making your reservation. Unfortunately, Emotional
Support animals are Not Accepted.
SAND
Please remove sand from your feet and towels before returning to your room. Shower
before entering pool. Foot showers are located at the North and South end pool area.
Please do not use resort linens to remove sand from body or bathing suits.
SMOKING
Tropical Sands is a non smoking resort. No smoking, other than in the
designated areas. See office for details.
STAY-OVERS & MOVE-OVERS
If staying another week in the same unit, we will schedule you a light clean and linen
exchange and starter supply replenishment pack. If you are staying another week in
a different unit, please stay in your unit until your new unit is available. Please load up
the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it, place dirty linens in the laundry room area,
and remove all trash from the unit you are vacating. The office will contact you when
your new unit is ready. Your move-over must be completed in 30 minutes or you will be
charged $100 for each half hour following.
SWIMMING POOL & HOT TUB
Specific rules for use of the pool are posted in the pool area. Please be sure all children
are well supervised to avoid any accidents. No glassware, rafts, tubes, radios or beach
balls are allowed in the pools. Special pool towels are located in your unit, above the
washer/dryer. Please remember to shower before entering the pool. Toddlers and
children that do not have proper swimming diapers will not be allowed in the pool. Pool
hours are from dawn to dusk. Quiet time is from 10:00PM to 8:00AM. The Hot Tub is
heated to 102 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a 15 minute time limit for your health and
to allow the usage of others. The hot tub is considered unsafe for anyone with any
type of heart condition. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
TRASH
The refuse dumpsters are located in the North & South end of the parking lot.
Please do not use containers around the pool or under the stairways for your unit trash.
UMBRELLAS & BEACH CHAIRS
Shaded Rentals has provided Free Beach Chairs located by the
pool deck fence on the North side. Umbrellas are also available
for a fee.
UNIT OCCUPANCY & SUPPLIES
The unit occupancy is a maximum of six (6) people. This includes children. The unit is
supplied with 6 sets of bath towels, either hanging up or under the bath cabinets. We
have provided you with a starter supply of soaps and paper products to tide you over
until you have a chance to do your shopping for the weeks supplies. Extra supplies are
available in the office for a fee. The dishes and flatware are also set up for six people.
